Adobe announced at its MAX 2018 event that Project Rush is now ready for prime time and will launch as Premiere Rush CC as part of the Creative Cloud suite. Premiere Rush CC brings the best aspects of the desktop Premiere Pro experience into an easy-to-use mobile app that allows for pro-quality edits and easy sharing onto social media platforms.
Earlier this year, Adobe announced Project Rush — a video editing app for creators on the go. Now, at its annual MAX conference, Adobe has taken Project Rush out of beta. It is now christened Premiere Rush CC and is part of the Creative Cloud subscription. Premiere Rush CC aims to offer advanced editing tools to creators on the go without having to delve deep into intricacies such as color correction or motion graphics.
With Premiere Rush CC, you can capture video, edit, add motion graphics and titles, clean up audio, and finally publish your creation to social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram. Adobe said that although this is being aimed at a mobile audience, the tools available are the exact same ones being offered on the desktop. Also, this being part of the Creative Cloud, all work is synced across all devices. Speaking of devices, Premiere Rush CC is now available on Windows, Mac, and iOS with Android availability slated sometime in 2019.
Premiere Rush CC is included in all Premiere Pro CC subscription packages and also offers a single app plan for US$9.99 per month. There's a fully featured free starter plan also available but the number of exports are limited to just three projects.
