Deal | Acer gaming laptop with RTX 5070 and 32GB RAM marked down by 25%

Finding a well-priced gaming laptop is a huge challenge these days, especially for budget-conscious gamers who are looking to spend under $2,000 for a machine that can play the latest games at high settings. While some compromises still have to be made in this price range, a current offer for the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 might be worth checking out.
Similar to a gaming laptop deal from a few weeks ago, the 16-inch notebook is once again on sale at B&H Photo Video. This time around, it's the much more attainable configuration with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, 32GB DDR5 RAM and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 with 8GB GDDR7 VRAM. The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 also sports an 1600p IPS display and a 1TB SSD.
This model variant carries an official MSRP of $1,999 but has now been marked down to $1,499 including free shipping. Alternatively, the gaming laptop can be ordered with an RTX 5070 Ti with 12GB VRAM but just 16GB DDR5 for $250 more, which might be the better option for gamers who can wait until memory prices drop back to more sensible prices before they upgrade to 32GB.
That being said, the 8GB VRAM of the RTX 5070 SKU might be the biggest caveat of this machine, as some demanding games will require fine-tuning and optimized settings including DLSS before they run smoothly. But since mentionable gaming laptop deals will most likely remain a scarcity in the foreseeable future, shoppers who are running out of patience might want to take advantage of this reasonable deal.
Make sure to grab a fitting Logitech G703 Lightspeed wireless gaming mouse on Amazon unless you want to play with the touchpad of the Acer Predator Helios.
