According to a few user reports, Android Marshmallow is coming to Note 5 and Galaxy S6 handsets on AT&T. Samsung Note 5 owners on AT&T should pay attention to the update notification already, although the new firmware still has not been officially unveiled. On the other hand, AT&T customers who own the Galaxy S6 flagship should wait until Monday.
The most interesting part of the story is that not all AT&T representatives say the same, but one of them claims he got the information from "a portal that gives us release dates and information for upcoming events." In the end, maybe those who said otherwise were simply tired, distracted, or had something to do.
Android Marshmallow for Note 5 and Galaxy S6 on AT&T rolled out via OTA, but those who did not get the notification yet can check as always for the update - Settings > About Device > Download Updates Manually. The new firmware should offer Google Now on Tap, Doze mode, as well as multiple tweaks, enhancements, and fixes.
