AOC E800 Android tablet spotted at the FCC
There is not much to get tempting with this cheap tablet, but if you are looking at a device that is not among the crowd – check out the AOL E800. Problem is that it is not above the crowd as well. You get a Rockchip RK2818 processor, an 8-inch display panel with a native resolution of 800 x 600 pixels, up to 512mb of DDR2 RAM, 2GB of flash-based storage – and an old Android 2.1. Not very tempting, but it might start to make sense for some looking at the $200 price tag.
The 802.11b Wi-Fi standard is lower than some of the smartphones today, but you get a huge 3500mAh battery with the gadget. No words on the availability yet.
