Gold Galaxy S7 flagships by Truly Exquisite
UK-based Truly Exquisite already has the custom 24K gold Galaxy S7 flagships up for pre-order starting at more than $2,300 USD.

When having a high-end handset is not enough, grabbing a gold-plated version is the next best thing to do. However, such custom-made luxury handsets usually become available a while after the launch of the original. This time, UK-based Truly Exquisite has already made the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge available for pre-order and, as we already know, both will hit retail stores starting March 11th.

According to the official product page, the frame of these custom Galaxy S7 handsets "can be in either 24K Gold, Platinum or 18K Rose Gold plated" and they will be available "very soon after the official release date." Truly Exquisite also reveals that each custom handset will arrive "in a Luxury Wooden Display Box and include free additional extras including a Samsung Gear VR and Wireless Charging Pad as well as free worldwide shipping."

The only versions available with custom gold plating now are the 32 GB ones, in black or platinum gold finish. The plating choices are 24K gold, as well as platinum and 18K rose gold. Pricing starts around $2,300 USD.

Although I have been writing about new software and hardware for almost a decade, I consider myself to be old school. I always enjoy listening to music on CD or tape instead of digital files and I will not even get into the touchscreen vs physical keys debate. However, I also enjoy new technology, as I now have the chance to take a look at the future every day. I joined the Notebookcheck crew back in 2013 and I have no plans to leave the ship anytime soon.
