Lemmo 3 e-bike with 960 Wh battery, 90 Nm and cargo bike features launches with €1,300 discount

Following the Lemmo One commuter e-bike and the Lemmo Zero folding bike, the manufacturer's third model is now going on sale, aptly named the Lemmo 3. It is a longtail cargo bike that can carry up to 80 kilograms on its extra-long rear rack and an additional 20 kilograms in a basket in front of the handlebars.
The rear rack can also carry children or dogs with the appropriate accessories. Lemmo's main selling point is that the Lemmo 3 feels like a normal e-bike and is barely any longer, while, unlike cargo bikes with a front cargo rack, the handlebars remain directly connected to the wheel. Its compact dimensions are achieved in part by using a 24-inch wheel at the front but a smaller 20-inch wheel at the rear. The e-bike has full suspension and is available with either a chain or a belt drive.
Lemmo equips the cargo bike with a hub motor delivering 90 Nm of torque and an output of 250 watts in the EU and the UK, compared to 750 watts in the US. The speed up to which the motor provides assistance is limited to 25 km/h in Europe, as required by law, while up to 40 km/h is possible in the US. The 960 Wh battery weighs around 5 kilograms and is said to offer a range of 180 kilometers.
The Lemmo 3 offers not only a 3.5-inch touchscreen and a smartphone app, but also a range of smart features, led by a radar that detects cars approaching from behind once they are within 100 meters of the bike. In addition to GPS and LTE for locating the e-bike, the bike also offers a range of anti-theft features, from a password to the option of using a smartphone as a key via an app or NFC chip.
