iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C can be preordered already

Teaser
According to Chinese sources, Apple announces a special launch event in China, but there are no official details yet. At the same time, the phones show up for preorder on a Chinese website.

While more and more alleged iPhone 5S images become available, it seems the unveiling of Apple's upcoming flagship phone is getting closer. After an announcement regarding a separate iPhone launch event in China, China Mobile published a page (taken down in the meantime) that allows its customers to preorder/reserve the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C handsets.

The new iPhone 5 smartphones will offer support for China Mobile's TD-SCDMA network, so the variant(s) of the phone present on this market could be different to the devices offered by Apple to the rest of the world. The Chinese carrier has over 1 billion subscribers at this time, so a device built specially for China will not be a surprise.

This is not the first time when iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C cases appear online, but it is worth mentioning that Spigen also has references to "iPhone 5S/5" and "iPhone 5C" on its website. Since this is Japan's leading case manufacturer, there is little room for error - it is almost certain that Apple's event on September 10 will reveal the new iPhones.

Unfortunately, we have to wait until then to get official information regarding pricing and availability of the handsets outside China. We will get back to this topic as soon as such information becomes available.
