Chinese manufacturer to hold launch event in Beijing while TENAA leaks unannounced 5.5-inch Nubia NX541J with large 4900 mAh battery.

So far, ZTE has released only two models in its Nubia Z11 family including the compact Z11 Mini and the larger Z11 Max phablet. The middle-ground model has been conspicuously missing until now as a teaser image for the Nubia Z11 is claiming a June 28 reveal date complete with a launch event in Beijing, China.

Earlier leaks have suggested that the Nubia Z11 will be almost borderless like its bigger and smaller siblings while carrying high-end specifications including a Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB eMMC, and a 5.5-inch FHD display with accurate "NeoVision" colors. It remains to be seen if the Chinese manufacturer will include SKU options for 6 GB RAM. Battery capacity is expected to be 2900 mAh and with an overall thickness of just 7.75 mm.

Interestingly, TENAA documents are showing another 5.5-inch FHD Nubia device. This particular model is listed with a much larger 4900 mAh battery, an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC, 3 GB RAM, and 32 GB eMMC. It's not likely to be the Nubia Z11 based on its NX541J model number, but we can expect to see it pop up again in the near future sometime after an official Nubia Z11 announcement.
