ZTE unveiled its new Nubia Z11 mini smartphone today. The device comes with a 5-inch, FullHD display with Gorilla Glass 3 on top, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor and 3 GB of RAM. The SoC carries eight Cortex-A53 cores, four of which are clocked at 1.3 GHz and the other four at 1.5 GHz for more power-intensive tasks. The integrated graphics unit is Adreno 405.

The phone has been outfitted with 64 GB of internal storage space (partly taken by the Android 5.1 operating system with ZTE’s Nubia UI 3.9.6 on top). It can be expanded by up to 200 GB via the built-in microSD card reader.

One of the most interesting features of the new handset is the camera that makes use of a 16 MP Sony IMX298 sensor and features an f/2.0 lens as well as LED flash and phase-detection autofocus. It can shoot RAW DNG format at sensivity of up to 12,800 ISO without excessive noise. The front-facing camera allows taking 8 MP selfies.

The new handset will be available in three colour options: white, black and gold. It will be available in China starting April 25th at 1,500 Yuan (approx. $230).
