Xiaomi releases new Redmi Turbo 4 Pro variant with fresh colourway

Xiaomi has refreshed the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, less than a quarter after it originally introduced the device in Black, Green and White finishes. For context, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro went on to form the basis of the Poco F7 as a cheaper alternative to the existing Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra (curr. $799.99 on Amazon).

This time, Xiaomi has overhauled the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro with a new Pink Gold variant that comes in a choice of five memory combinations. Just like the device's other colour variants, the Pink Gold version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro starts with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage at an introductory price of CNY 1,899 (~$265). Alternatively, the new model can be configured through to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage but for a CNY 1,000 (~$139) surcharge that takes the device to CNY 2,899 (~$404).

Fundamentally, the new Pink Gold features the same underlying hardware as other Redmi Turbo 4 Pro variants. Thus, it combines a 6.83-inch and 120 Hz AMOLED display with a 50 MP main camera, a 7,550 mAh battery and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. At the time of writing, Xiaomi has revealed whether it will be bringing this new Pink Gold option to the Poco F7 globally.
