The Xgimi Horizon 20 home theater projectors have been announced. On show at IFA 2025, the flagship Horizon 20 Max is equipped with a triple laser light source, said to offer a higher level of brightness than its predecessor. Launching in partnership with Assassin's Creed Shadows, these projectors are designed for gaming.

Xgimi has announced the new Horizon 20 home theater projector series. This range, which will be on show at IFA 2025, builds on the brand's older Horizon models, like the Horizon Ultra (curr. $1,099 at Amazon). The latest lineup includes the Horizon 20, the Horizon 20 Pro and the Horizon 20 Max.

At the top of this range is the Horizon 20 Max, Xgimi's latest flagship model. It is described as offering "cinema-grade brightness", up to 5,700 ISO lumens, thanks to the combination of the RGB triple laser light source and the X-Master Red Ring lens. For context, the older Horizon S Max offers 3,100 ISO lumens brightness. The Max and the other Horizon 20 models are said to have been designed for gamers. Listed features include a low latency gaming mode with 1 ms input lag, a 240 Hz refresh rate and VRR. Plus, these projectors are being launched in partnership with Assassin's Creed Shadows.

The Xgimi Horizon projectors each support Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Filmmaker Mode and IMAX Enhanced. Image-perfecting tools include lens shift and optical zoom, and there is also a Pro Tuning menu allowing users to customize the setup further. These home theater models run on a version of Android TV, with native Netflix support.

Xgimi's Horizon 20 projectors will be released in Europe on October 15th. The Xgimi Horizon 20 will retail for €1,699, the Horizon 20 Pro will cost €2,099 and Horizon 20 Max will be priced at €2,999. Details of a US launch have yet to be announced.
