Verizon releases list of tablets getting ICS update

Verizon soon to provide an Ice Cream Sandwich update on a number of their devices as they have released the list of the devices included

The Ice Cream Sandwich was released in December last year with Samsung Galaxy Nexus which is probably being used by about only 2percent of the Android users. Apart from that there are only a few models which had received the Ice Cream Sandwich update. But there are still a lot of Android fans who are waiting for their Android 4.0 update on their Smartphones or tablets.

But now it seems that Verizon will be providing ICS for almost all of its users who are using a tablet and Smartphones. Verizon has recently forwarded a list of devices which will receive the Ice Cream Sandwich update. So this is really being something for those who were very enthusiast about the Ice Cream Sandwich.

The list of devices includes

  • HTC models:
    • HTC ThunderBolt
    • DROID Incredible 2
    • HTC Rhyme
    • HTC Rezound
  • Motorola models:
    • Motorola XOOM
    • DROID BIONIC
    • DROID RAZR
    • DROID RAZR MAXX
    • DROID XYBOARD 8.2
    • DROID XYBOARD 10.1

     

  • Samsung:
    • Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
    • Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7
  • LG:
    • Spectrum

     

So if you own one of these models then get ready for your updates as they will be arriving soon. But still the date for the arrival of the updates is yet to be revealed.
