This week, Xbox Game Pass adds three new titles to its lineup. One of them is launching directly on the service and has already turned heads during its beta, drawing nearly 160,000 concurrent players in a surprise success.

Last week brought three new games to Game Pass, and this week continues the trend. If you're in the mood for a different kind of simulation – this time intergalactic – check out Star Trucker. Fans of roguelikes and deckbuilding will find plenty to enjoy in Wildfrost, while competitive players and football enthusiasts should take a look at Rematch. Unlike FC 25 (formerly FIFA), Rematch doesn’t aim for realism, but delivers fast-paced, ruthless 5v5 action – something that clearly resonates with players, judging by its surprisingly strong numbers. You’ll find a quick overview below.

Star Trucker - June 18 (Xbox Series X/S)

Star Trucker is a space trucking sim that puts you behind the wheel of an intergalactic hauler. As you journey across the galaxy, you'll take on missions while navigating challenges like corporate greed, space pirates and shady outposts.

Orders come in via radio or at space stations – ranging from basic cargo runs to smuggling jobs and missions with unique challenges. Along the way, you’ll need to manage fuel, monitor systems and damage, steer clear of asteroid fields and survive hostile zones – either by force or negotiation. Between runs, you can upgrade your ship with better engines, expanded cargo space and more.

Wildfrost - June 18 (console)

Wildfrost is a tactical roguelike deckbuilder set in a world plunged into endless winter. With the sun gone and the land frozen over, only one town remains: Snowdwell, a last haven for heroes determined to fight back the cold. Players lead a team of adventurers into the icy wilderness, on a mission to uncover and eliminate the source of the eternal frost.

Every run starts with a randomly generated hero, each with unique stats and abilities. As you progress, you'll recruit companions and gather spells that expand your deck and unlock new tactical options. Battles are turn-based and unfold on a two-row battlefield where positioning, cooldowns and attack direction all play key roles. A standout feature is the "Counter System" – cards don’t attack immediately, but only once their counter reaches zero. This adds a layer of strategy, allowing for careful planning but also demanding precise timing. Between fights, you choose paths, visit shops, collect new cards or upgrade existing ones.

Rematch - June 19 (PC, Clound and Xbox Series X/S)

With nearly 160,000 concurrent players during its open beta on May 29 (according to SteamDB) and a current peak of over 42,000 in the full release, Rematch stands out as one of this year's biggest surprise hits. Its blend of accessible football gameplay and competitive arena action has sparked serious buzz. Many are already calling it “Rocket League with feet instead of cars.”

In Rematch, you control a single player in a fast-paced 5v5 match where everything revolves around precise ball control, sharp passes, slick dribbling and aggressive tackles. There are no fouls, no offsides and no breaks – just pure, relentless competition. Unlike traditional football games, Rematch isn’t about realism but about fluid, skill-driven gameplay.
