The LG W41 smartphone series is tipped to launch in India soon; full specs for all 3 devices leak
LG launched the budget W31 and W31+ in India in 2020. Now, despite rumors that their OEM is leaving the smartphone space entirely, they are rumored to get direct upgrades that will debut soon, with an additional Pro variant this time around to boot.
Earlier reports have hinted at quad rear cameras and 3.5mm jacks for the 3 phones. Now, MySmartPrice claims to know much more about them thanks to the leaker Ishan Agarwal. The tipster believes that the S31 will have 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage, whereas the W31+ will have the same amount of RAM but double the storage.
The Pro, on the other hand, will be the only variant to have 6GB of RAM, paired (again) with 128GB of internal storage. Otherwise, the three W41s will have essentially the same chassis, with a 6.55-inch HD+ display that has an 8MP punch-hole camera (whereas the W31s had a waterdrop notch). They are also now said to have 48+8+2+2MP main shooters.
Therefore, it seems the W41 series will turn out much like the W31/31+ after all. The putative 2021 generation might also get the same MediaTek Helio G35 platform, rear-facing fingerprint sensors and 5000mAh battery. Agarwal also projects that these similar-yet-different affordable phones will hit the Indian market soon, but does not know exactly when as yet.
