The 12.5-inch Lenovo Ideapad U260 to go up for sale this Monday
Today, on the 15th of November, the portable computing world has witnessed the Lenovo Ideapad U260 debuting, making its presence felt across shelves with a starting price of $895. Lenovo officially announced the world’s first 12.5-inch ultra-thin notebook today.
Powered by Intel’s Core i-series processor, this latest offing by Lenovo in the 11 to 13-inch laptop range has several features that set it apart from its competitors in the same segment. This would include the presence of 12.5 inch 1366 x 768 pixel anti-glare LED backlit display, processing powered by the highly powerful Intel Core i3-380UM dual core or Intel Core i5-470UM dual core CPU, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM and also a 320GB hard drive.
The all new Lenovo Ideapad U260 also comes with Intel HD graphics with HDMI output, a highly efficient spill-resistant keyboard, a hard drive protection system to protect the device from severe falls. It also features a multitouch touchpad, an Ambient light sensor, Magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis, and a 4 cell Lithium Polymer battery.
Connectivity is provided via 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1. Also there is provision for a VGA port and 2 USB 2.0 ports.
Apart from all of the above, the 12.5″ x 8.1″ x 0.7″ Lenovo Ideapad U260 that is now available for ordering, features a 0.3MP camera and is as pretty light with a weight of just 3.04 pounds.
