Sony didn't want to miss out on the stealth dropping train after watching Bethesda show off The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remake. It has revealed the launch date for what is arguably one of the most highly anticipated PS5 games coming this year: Ghost of Yotei.
Ghost of Yotei launches worldwide on October 2. Like most modern-day AAA games, it will retail for $69.99/£69.99/€79.99. And yes, it will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5. No PS4 versions this time, unfortunately. Additionally, Sucker Punch will offer the game in three editions: Standard, Deluxe and Collectors.
The Standard and Deluxe editions of Ghost of Yotei come with varying degrees of in-game cosmetics. Both have pre-order bonuses, but the latter gets you an additional set of armour, armour dye, sword kit and horse armour. The Collector's Edition gives you a blank CD case with a game code, a sash, a pouch, and a Zeni Hajiki game.
Pre-orders for Ghost of Yotei start on May 2 on the PlayStation Store if you want to buy digitally. Sony has also posted a new trailer for the game, which, unfortunately, does not show much in the way of gameplay. But you can expect to see the same visually stunning environments found in the original.
