Roland Quandt has shed new light on the Galaxy Watch series, which Samsung is expected to refresh next month with three new options. To recap, the company introduced the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra (curr. $339.99 on Amazon) last July. This time though, is widely believed to be plotting a triple release this year with the return of its beloved Classic offering.
Apparently, the Galaxy Watch Classic will come in at around €499 in an uplift from the €449 that Samsung initially charged for the Galaxy Watch6 Classic in the Eurozone as a 47 mm smartwatch. As a result, we suspect the Galaxy Watch8 Classic to reach other markets for roughly the same price increase. Therefore, the smartwatch will likely land in the US for $499, particularly given the lack of a smaller variant this time around.
Quandt reports that the same will be true for the Galaxy Watch8 across both 40 mm and 44 mm sizes. To offset this price increase to nearly $399.99 for the base model, the leaker anticipates Samsung to double the built-in storage from 32 GB to 64 GB. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) will remain unchanged at $649.99 or €699 in the Eurozone, also with 64 GB of storage. Currently, Samsung is expected to unveil all three new smartwatches on July 9 during its next Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7.
