The selection of affordable Android smartphones with 5G from Samsung in India seems poised to expand substantially with the launch of the Galaxy M16 and the Galaxy F16. Both devices are thought to be powered by the same mid-range MediaTek silicon and to have triple rear camera humps quite like that of the Galaxy Z Fold6.

The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G is a new smartphone that runs MediaTek's Dimensity 6300 SoC in India. However, the OEM has apparently decided that there is just not enough devices with its design and specs around, and is gearing up to release not 1 but 2 new versions of the same.

They are most likely to be called the Galaxy M16 and F16 5G on their launch, based on the fact that Samsung has made support pages for the possibly corresponding model numbers SM-M166P/DS and SM-E166P/DS live on its website for Indian customers.

Then again, it is still possible that there might be some differences between the 2 upcoming smartphones and the A16 5G that currently goes for INR 16,499 (~$191) on Amazon.in. For example, the M16 5G has been spotted on Geekbench with just 4GB of RAM and might thus be even cheaper on its release.

In addition, one or more of the new handsets might have a different processor: the Exynos 1330, perhaps.
