The successor to the Samsung Galaxy A06 is on the way and while a release date is unclear at this point, most of the specifications have been leaked. Along with the details, renders showing the design and color options have also surfaced, leaving nothing to the imagination. The latest leak also confirms the SoC upgrade coming with the Galaxy A07.
The information comes courtesy of Sudhanshu Ambhore via X. The Galaxy A07 is said to be powered by the Helio G99 as previously expected. It is a 6-nm ARM processor that includes two ARM Cortex-A76 performance cores running at up to 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. There is a 6.7-inch notched PLS LCD screen with 1,600x720 resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The dual camera setup at the back includes a 50 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP (f/2.4) secondary shooter. At the front, an 8 MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter is placed within the notch.
The Galaxy A07 is said to be backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging support. Interestingly, the Galaxy A06 supports 25W wired charging so it is more likely that the Galaxy A07 will support at least that. It will come with Android 15 out of the box but will support six years of updates. The dual-SIM phone will have a microSD slot, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5, and a 3.5 mm jack. It is said to be IP54 dust and water resistant as well.
As for the design, the Google Play Console leak showed one color variant with minimal design changes compared to the Galaxy A06. That remains the case, but two additional color options have now been revealed. The phone is expected to come in a silver/white, green, and a black variant.
Samsung has not shared a release date for the Galaxy A07 and the pricing is unclear at this point. For reference, the Galaxy A06 launched in August last year and is currently listed for $110 on Amazon.
