CES 2023 | Powerful Lenovo Legion Tower 7i speeds onto the scene with up to a Core i9-13900K, an RTX 4090, and 64 GB of DDR5 memory
Lenovo has refreshed its Legion Tower series of desktops. The new desktops come equipped with the latest 13th gen Intel Raptor Lake processors and GeForce RTX 40 graphics boards. Lenovo claims that the Legion Tower 7i has been designed for “extreme performance”. The 34 L case has a simple aesthetic where the front is dominated by a mesh panel and three ARGB fans. Moreover, the glass side panel can be installed/removed without any tools.
But when it comes to gaming desktops, what really matters are the internals. Fortunately, the Legion Tower 7i excels here. The desktop packs up to a top-of-the-line RTX 4090 GPU and a Core i9-13900K on an unidentified Intel Z790 ATX motherboard. The powerful CPU + GPU combo can be paired with up to 64 GB of 4800 MHz or 5200 MHz DDR5 memory. Finally, the Legion Tower 7i can be decked out with a max 4 TB mechanical hard drive and up to 6 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage.
Additionally, the Legion Tower 7i has tons of I/O. On top of the casing, there are two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (20 Gbps) ports, two USB 2, one 3.5 mm headphone jack, and one microphone port. The rear I/O includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port (20 Gbps), a single USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (10 Gbps), four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, two USB 2 ports, six audio ports with SPDIF and a single ethernet jack.
Finally, the desktop boasts Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 ensuring you can go completely wireless when it comes to connectivity.
Powering the machine is a 1200 W PSU on the most expensive config. Talking about price, the Legion Tower 7i starts at US$2,999. It will be available to buy this month.
