Pixel 7 Pro concept video offers more views of Google's next flagship smartphone
It has been just over a week since @OnLeaks shared the first renders of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. While Google is not expected to launch the Pixel 7 series until the autumn, LetsGoDigital and Technizo Concept have created a video based on the renders that @OnLeaks provided. For reference, the latter bases his renders on leaked CAD files.
Reportedly, the Pixel 7 Pro will launch with a 6.71-inch display, along with a GS201 SoC. The smartphone is thought to measure 163 × 76.6 × 8.7 mm, making it slightly shorter and thinner than the Pixel 6 Pro while also being 0.7 mm wider. For some reason, LetsGoDigital and Technizo Concept have included thinner display bezels in their renders than those produced by @OnLeaks.
Presumably, the pair estimate that the Pixel 7 Pro will have thinner bezels than its predecessor if it contains the same sized display in a more compact chassis. Unsurprisingly, the Pixel 7 Pro retains its predecessor's colour accent above its camera housing. Incidentally, the camera housing blends more seamlessly into the frame than on the Pixel 6 Pro.
Based on Android 13 Developer Preview 1 code, Google has codenamed the Pixel 7 Pro 'Cheetah' or 'Panther'. In comparison, Google's first foldable smartphone is believed to carry the codename 'Pipit'.
