Online listings hint at Sony Vaio Z21 ultraportable

Teaser
The new series will supposedly launch in 4 models with the ability to output 3D video playback through HDMI

The successor to last year’s ultraportable Vaio Z11 series could be coming soon, at least according to online listings from retailer site F2F Computers.

The British Columbian-based online retailer is currently listing four supposedly upcoming Vaio Z21 models, although they are not yet available for purchase. These include the VPC-Z21L9E, VPC-Z21M9E, VPC-Z21X9E and VPC-Z21V9E.

Each of the 13.1-inch models will offer similar specs, including an Intel Sandy Bridge CPU, 4GB to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 256GB SSD, 1600x900 screen resolution, 3G, USB 3.0 and even the ability to output 3D content over HDMI. Users should have the option for a Core i5-2410M or the more powerful Core i7-2620M CPU, depending on the model.

While the notebooks have not been officially announced, F2F claims that they will range between €1809 ($2642) to €2839 ($4148) at launch. Hopefully Sony will formally introduce these notebooks soon and with friendlier price points as well.
