The first Android 3.0 Tablet from Sony hits FCC
Sony has been late to the tablet market, like the way it was for the netbook. Still the Japanese electronics giant creates a space for itself with some innovative products. We certainly hope for the same with Sony’s first tablet called the S1 that hits FCC yesterday.
Wireless goodness reports that the S1 might come in six different versions. Four of those should be Wi-Fi only and the remaining two will come with 3G capabilities. The 3G versions will support GSM 850 and 1900 bands, as well as WCDMA bands II and V.
This toy should arrive in the market this fall, but no pricing is revealed yet. It should be accompanied by AT&T contracts.
