Nokia 6 is as durable as its iconic ancestors
Since Nokia 6 has recently become available outside China, YouTube tech blogger JerryRigEverything took it for a torture test. According to him, the Nokia 6 was about the 60th smartphone to be scratched, burned, and bent so that all those interested could see how well would their money be spent on such a handset.
The test is pretty straightforward and the Nokia 6 passes it without problems. Its fingerprint scanner and cameras are well protected from scratches, its screen can recover after a short exposure to the flame of a lighter, and the metal body is as durable as it should - scratching it is possible, but Jerry could not bend the phone.
In the end, the only part that this test proved to be prone to failure is the material covering the earpiece. Other than that and leaving the specs aside, Nokia 6 can be considered a perfect smartphone. While it does not retail as a rugged handset and its features might not be the best in its price range, it surely can handle more than enough punishment.
