Casio could launch a new ring watch series later in 2025. The rumored DWN-5600 wearables would follow in the footsteps of the Casio CRW-001, which was launched at the end of 2024, celebrating the brand’s 50th anniversary.
A recent post by geesgshock on Instagram (below) suggests that there could be three rings in this G-Shock Nano line-up: the DWN-5600-1 (black), the DWN-5600-4 (red) and the DWN-5600-9 (yellow). Supposedly leaked images show a design similar to that of DW-5600 series watches, like the DW5600UE-1 (curr. $55.96 at Amazon). These ring watches appear to have a resin casing and strap and an octagonal bezel surrounding a digital watch face.
The full functionality of the possible DWN-5600 series ring watches remains to be seen. As a reminder, the CRW-001 supports dual time, has an automatic calendar and offers 12 or 24-hour time formats. It also has a 1/100th second stopwatch, Time Flash and an LED backlight.
It has been suggested that the Casio G-Shock Nano Ring Watches would be released towards the end of 2025 with a €99.90 (~$114) RRP. There are currently no pricing or release rumors for other markets such as the US. Plus, Casio has yet to officially acknowledge this product.
