While a handful of freshly-released free games were recently spotted on Steam, it seems those weren’t the only new additions in Steam’s free game library. X user @SteamGamesPC discovered another batch of freebies.

Steam gets new releases every now and then, and among these fresh additions are many games that users can play without paying anything. Recently, a bunch of these newly added freebies were spotted, and now more have been discovered by X user @SteamGamesPC. Of course, not all of them might be worth trying, as many of them don't have a player rating yet. As for those titles that have already got good player ratings, they are as follows:

  • Vigil ­- a short narrative-driven horror free game with a unique blinking mechanism. This freebie launched on Steam on August 15 and currently features a "Very Positive" player rating.
  • Sub Terra - said to be a first-person psychological horror title that puts players in an eerie underground facility. It launched as a free game on Steam on August 15 and currently sports a "Positive" player rating.
  • Ignis Dei - a new freebie on Steam that's about the Black Death plague. It became available on August 11, and the title currently boasts a "Positive" rating that's based on over 20 player ratings.
  • Ravenous - described as a psychological horror free game that lets players play a child trapped in a monster's basement. This new freebie became available on August 13 and currently sports a "Very Positive" rating.
  • Nakuma - a single-player RPG that puts a heavy focus on grinding for gear. It launched as a free game on Steam on August 14, and currently, there are over 60 player ratings, with 91% of them being positive.
  • Gelldonia - categorized as a survival-adventure title with weapons from the 17th and 18th centuries. This free game launched on Steam on August 14, and at the time, it sports a "Mostly Positive" player rating.
  • Seamspace: Minesweeper - a relaunch of the classic Minesweeper that offers a 3D experience. It's currently rated as "Positive" by players, and the freebie launched on Steam on August 11.
  • Toy Town Mayhem - an early-access free game with a fun twist on battle royale mode. This freebie currently sports a "Mostly Positive" player rating and was launched on August 16.
  •  M.A.L.M.O : Scorched Earth - a fast-paced FPS title that's set in an apocalyptic world. It became available on Steam on August 15, and it's rated "Positive" by players.
