The Minisforum UH125 Pro is the newest addition to the brand's portfolio. At the core, it's a cheaper and lower-end variant of the AtomMan X7 Ti, which the company launched back in May. That mini PC featured the top-end CPU within the Intel Meteor Lake lineup, the Core Ultra 9 185H.
On the other hand, the newer UH125 Pro comes with the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, a lower-end processor from the same lineup. But that's not the only difference that sets the two mini PCs apart. The AtomMan X7 Ti came with a different chassis, and it had a built-in 4-inch display and a webcam.
Those aren't present on the UH125 Pro. But the good part is that this new mini PC from Minisforum retains the OCuLink port, making it a suitable option for an eGPU setup. The other port configuration is also similar to the AtomMan X7 Ti, including the two USB4 ports.
What's new, however, is a dedicated Copilot button on the opposite side of the power button. Other than that, the Minisforum UH125 Pro can be equipped with up to 96 GB of DDR5 RAM, and it has two M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots for SSDs (1 TB Samsung 990 EVO curr. $79 on Amazon). For wireless connectivity, it has WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
Pricing-wise, the barebone variant of the Minisforum UH125 Pro currently costs $439, while the variant with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB storage is $639. This pricing makes the new mini PC more affordable than the AtomMan X7 Ti. But if you're looking for a more capable system, the latter is a better pick.
