MagicX has now opened pre-orders for the One 35, its third release of the year after the Mini Zero 28 that arrived in January before being refreshed in May. Shortly afterwards, MagicX moved on to the Zero 40, a Nintendo DS-focused option that it updated last month with a translucent green colour option (curr. $94.99 on Amazon).
While those pair rely on the Allwinner A133P, MagicX has switched to the MediaTek Helio G85 for the One 35. Packing two ARM Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores, the Helio G85 also features a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU powerful enough to emulate up to PS Vita games. Additionally, the One 35 can be configured with up to 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash storage.
Meanwhile, all configurations come with a 4,300 mAh battery that supports up to 10 W USB Type-C charging, as well as a 3.5-inch IPS display that resolves at 960 x 640 pixels with 700 nits peak brightness. On top of that, MagicX has included a Hall effect joystick, dual d-pads for Tate emulation and stereo speakers, all within a 153 x 70 x 19 mm housing that weighs 189 g.
Currently, the One 35 can be picked up on MagicX's website for $55 with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. However, this price is only good until October 25, after which the One 35 will start at $59 before rising to $63 on November 25. Alternatively, the One 35 can be configured with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage for $65, $69 between October 25 and November 25 and $73 after November 25. Regardless of pricing, the MagicX One 35 should start shipping globally on November 26.
