Teaser

The HTC 10 smartphone is scheduled for official announcement tomorrow. However, a promotional video showing HTC’s new flagship in its full glory has just leaked, spoiling the event for some people.

The video does not really disclose any information that has not been leaked before, but it allows us to get a very close look at its aluminium unibody design with chamfered edges. Apart from that, the video also confirms that the new handset will feature a USB 3.1 Type-C port and will come in three colour options: silver, gold and dark-grey.

According to previous leaks, the HTC 10 will come with a 5.15-inch Super LCD display with 2560 x 1440 resolution. Under the hood, the 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked is expected, along with Adreno 530 graphics and 4 GB of LPDDR4 memory.

The new Taiwanese flagship is also supposed to carry a 5 MP front-facing camera with optical stabilization, in addition to the 12 MP main, rear-facing unit. The battery capacity is rumoured to be 3,000 mAh and the phone will reportedly run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC’s Sense 8.0 UI out-of-the box. For official confirmation, along with more details, we’ll have to wait until tomorrow.
