Geekom Mini FUN11 mini PC brings support for discrete graphics cards
The Geekom Mini FUN11 is one of the latest additions to the brand’s mini PC lineup. Although its weight and dimensions are not like the standard mini PCs, it packs powerful specs inside.
Specifically, the Mini FUN11 boasts the Intel Core i9-11900KB CPU, which brings 8 cores and 16 threads. While this processor is about three generations old now, the high-end models, such as this Core i9 CPU, can easily go against the latest mid-tier processors.
Moreover, the Geekom Mini FUN11 has support for discrete GPUs. According to the official site, the mini PC can hold cards that are 31.2 cm long, which includes most of the recently released graphics cards. With this, the system holds the potential to be a great performer in games, productivity, and other heavy workloads.
Besides, the Mini FUN11 mini PC comes with 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and 1 TB SSD. Users can upgrade the setup with up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 3200 MHz (Crucial RAM 64GB kit curr. US$109.99 on Amazon) and 4 TB of total storage. On the note of storage, the system boasts one M.2 PCIe Gen 4 and two M.2 PCIe Gen 3 slots.
To keep things cool, the Geekom Mini FUN11 comes with three built-in fans. And there’s a generous number of ports on the mini PC, which include:
- 1 x USB Type-C
- 2 x Thunderbolt 4
- 6 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1 x audio
- 2 x 2.5 GbE Ethernet
- 1 x HDMI 2.0b
When it comes to pricing, the Geekom Mini FUN11 mini PC is listed at US$999 on Amazon. However, it’s currently going for a discount on the official site at US$899.
