Fitbit Luxe leaks with a stainless steel case and an OLED display
Roland Quandt has leaked the Fitbit Luxe, presumably the company's next fitness tracker. In our opinion, the Luxe is the most stylish device that Fitbit has designed thus far, not least because of its stainless steel frame. It is unknown when Fitbit will release the Luxe or for how much, but Quandt's leaks usually arrive shortly before a manufacturer releases said product.
Fitbit has relied on a simple silicone watch strap that Quandt has shown in three colours. Apparently, Fitbit has called these Soft Gold (White and Platinum), Orchid and Black. The Orchid model also has a silver watch body, while Fitbit has applied more of a dark grey finish to the Black edition's body.
Quandt claims that Fitbit has equipped the Luxe with an OLED display, although he has not provided any other details about it. Likewise, we do not know about the Luxe's battery life. However, Quandt asserts that the Luxe should share many of the Fitbit Ace 3's features, which would include sleep tracking, a heart rate monitor and 50 m water resistance, among others. Unfortunately, this also means that the Luxe will not have a GPS module, which is a shame. Hence, you must have a smartphone with you if you want to record location data when cycling, running or walking, for example.
