FiiO has unveiled the Snowsky Tiny, an external headphone DAC and amplifier that connects to audio devices with a USB-C port.
The Snowsky Tiny comes in two versions—a model with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and USB-C charging port (Tiny A), and a model with 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm headphone jacks (Tiny B). Both models support high-resolution playback of 32-bit, 384 kHz PCM and DSD256 uncompressed music files and are Hi-Res Audio certified. An RGB indicator light shines in different colors to identify the quality of the music source.
The Tiny A model supports simultaneous audio output and fast device charging at up to 2A, 20V. This model measures 29 x 22 x 10 mm (1.14 x 0.87 x 0.39 in.). The Tiny B model supports simultaneous audio output through both headphone jacks. This model measures 35 x 24 x 10.8 mm (1.38 x 0.94 x 0.43 in.).
The Snowsky Tiny also supports USB Audio Class 1.0 and 2.0 protocols, allowing it to be used with game consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
Both FiiO Snowsky Tiny external USB-C headphone DAC models have an MSRP of $21.99 and are available on Amazon in black, gold, and silver.
