The Epic Games Store has kicked off a new month by refreshing its PC game giveaway service with a new title. For reference, Eastern Exorcist and Jorel's Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy will be available to claim until 15:00 UTC today.
After those games have returned to their retail prices, Epic Games will drop Nightingale from its $29.99 MSRP to $0.00. Released last year, Nightingale is a first-person survival crafting game set within an open-world environment. Please note that the game is still in Early Access. As a result, Nightingale will likely change over time before receiving a full release.
At this stage, Nightingale has received mixed reviews with a 59/100 average on OpenCritic and a Mostly Positive rating on Steam. Recent Steam reviews have slumped to a 'Mixed' rating, though. It is worth keeping in mind that Nightingale only offers partial controller support. For instance, one can only use a DualSense controller in wired mode (curr. $74 on Amazon).
Additionally, Nightingale will be free to claim alongside what Epic Games claims is over $100 worth of Firestone Online Idle RPG in-game items. Both deals will be available to add to your Epic Games library before 15:00 UTC on October 9. The full list of Firestone Online Idle RPG in-game items is as follows:
- 10 Common chests, each containing at least 1 piece of Hero's gear
- 10 Wooden chests with at least 1 piece of Hero's jewels
- 2 Avatars for your character profile
