The free games selection on Epic Games Store has been updated. Besides making the last free game for June 2025 live, this update has revealed two upcoming freebies for July 2025.

Sable is now available for $0 on Epic Games Store, and it will be available as a free game until July 03, 2025, UTC 15:00. In addition to making the final giveaway for June 2025 live, the storefront has confirmed that two new free games are coming next, just like what the recent leak from MeguminShiro has suggested.

To be specific, Backpack Hero and Figment will be available on the storefront for $0 from July 03 to July 10. These two soon-to-be free games have a combined value of $39.98 and good player ratings on Steam.

Among the two upcoming free games on Epic Games Store, Backpack Hero is described as a roguelike title, with the core gameplay revolving around organizing items within a grid-based backpack. It's said to be different than regular deck-building titles, as the items' effectiveness depends on their placement and arrangement inside the bag.

Backpack Hero has over 800 unique items, and players get to fight a variety of enemies. There are multiple heroes as well, and each one of them has a distinct play style. The game generally costs $19.99 when there's no sale in place, and it currently has a "Very Positive" player rating on Steam.

The second soon-to-be Epic Games Store free game is Figment. It's described as an action-adventure title that's set in a surreal world. Players note that music is a core part of the overall gameplay, and the game's soundtrack is dynamic and reacts to the player's actions and movements.

It's also said to have musical landscapes that are filled with puzzles and humor. Figment also costs $19.99 when there are no active discounts, and the game has a "Very Positive" player rating on Steam. Check out the videos attached below to learn more about these upcoming freebies.
