EcoFlow has announced three new high-capacity power banks under its Rapid Pro series. The new power banks include the Rapid Pro X which has a modular design; the Rapid Pro 27,650mAh; and the Rapid Pro 20,000mAh. All three models feature a compact design, X-VELO batteries, ultra-fast charging, and safety features. This article focuses on the Rapid Pro X.
Rapid Pro X
The Rapid Pro X Power Bank is a unique power bank with its design. For starters, it has a modular design as users can add additional accessories such as the EcoFlow Rapid Pro X Magnetic Block Extendable Cable or the EcoFlow Rapid Pro X Magnetic Block Apple Watch Charger via the pogo pins at the base.
The former allows you to add a retractable USB-C cable that is capable of putting out up to 140W while the latter allows you to charge an Apple Watch. The power bank also has detachable magnetic cases that owners can buy to customize it.
The Rapid Pro X Power Bank has a large 3.9-inch LCD display on the front which not only displays charging status but can be customized with the EcoFlow app to display custom text, photos including generated AI images, and QR codes that contain important information such as the details of the owner.
In terms of features, the Rapid Pro X has a large 27,650mAh battery capacity. There are three USB-C ports at the top, one of which has a maximum power output of 140W while the other two have a maximum output of 65W each. However, the total maximum power output is 300W and this can be achieved when the Magnetic Block Extendable Cable is attached.
The power bank supports 2-way fast charging, so it not only charges supported devices quickly but can also be fast-charged. With the prime 140W USB-C port, it takes 40 minutes to charge the Rapid Pro X from empty to 80%. That time can be shortened to 26 minutes when you also connect the Magnetic Block Extendable Cable to a charger for a combined input of 280W. The Rapid Pro X Power Bank can also charge from empty to 80% in 20 minutes at 320W when placed atop the Rapid Pro Desktop Charger's POGO pins.
EcoFlow says that details about pricing and availability will be released at a later date.
