Irish-based electronics manufacturer Disgo will be launching a new 3G-enabled tablet in the United Kingdom. The budget mobile device is dubbed 8400G and runs on an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Reportedly, the system will be available next month from online (and offline) retailers in the UK and will carry a £150 price-tag.
According to the firm, the 8400G model is equipped with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 central processing unit clocked at 1.2GHz and an Adreno 203 2D/3D graphics chip. Users are further provided with one mini-USB port (OTG), a 4800mAh battery that lasts for up to 8 hours on a single charge and dual cameras – a 2MP rear shooter and a 0.3MP front-facing web camera for video conferencing.
