DJI has officially launched the Power 2000, its latest and most capable portable power station to date. Following its earlier Power 500 and Power 1000 models, the Power 2000 steps up as a higher-capacity solution for heavy-duty power needs both at home and in remote environments.
The unit features a 2048Wh LFP battery and supports a continuous power output of up to 3000W. The system supports up to ten 2048Wh expansion batteries - allowing for a theoretical max storage of 22,528Wh. For recharging, the Power 2000 supports 2200W fast AC charging (0–100% in 75 minutes), as well as solar and car charging via separately sold 1 kW and 1.8 kW adapters.
The Power 2000 uses flame-retardant materials, includes board-level sub-nano coating and inverter potting protection, and is rated for operation at altitudes up to 5,000 meters. It also runs quiet during regular recharging, with DJI quoting a noise level below 29dB in standard mode.
Longevity also seems to be a focus for the company here. The Power 2000’s LFP cell reportedly retains 80% capacity after 4,000 full cycles, and despite the large energy reserve, the size of the unit has been kept relatively compact - advertised as 100% more capacity in just 42% more space compared to the previous generation.
App-based controls through the DJI Home App offer remote AC output toggling and intelligent power monitoring. The system appears to be catered towards everything from RV power setups and camping to home backup use and on-location professional workflows.
No global pricing or release date has been confirmed yet. DJI has also not clarified whether existing Power-series accessories will be compatible with the new model.
Alternatively, the Anker 521 portable power station is available for $159.99 on Amazon.
