Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 gets a new update and meets fans' expectations

Since its release, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has been a huge success. And while all players recently received a unique gift in their Steam library, they also benefit from an update that brings a highly anticipated new feature.

However, it should be noted that while this game was critically acclaimed upon its release, it is not without its flaws. Many players have complained and continue to complain about the difficulty of certain levels. Not to mention that the user experience also has a few issues that have been noticed over time.

But that could already be a thing of the past, as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has just added a highly requested feature: Battle Retry. Found in many similar video games, this feature is very popular because it allows players to save time and restart a battle immediately after losing, without having to start the entire level over again. So, if you fail a battle in this game, you can start again straight away. 

However, other changes are also coming with this major update. This is particularly the case for dialogues, which can now be read automatically outside of cutscenes. Note that this can be enabled in the settings or when the dialogues appear on the screen.

Still in the area of user experience, the Pictos menu display is now clearly visible and shows the cost of each ability separately. Finally, the audio settings have also been updated, with the option to adjust the sound for combat and exploration phases independently.

That's not all, as many other changes have been made in patch v1.4.0 for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This should allow players to fully enjoy this video game that continues to make headlines. Not to mention that the team seems to be listening very carefully to player feedback, which allows them to offer quality content while contributing to the phenomenal success of this French game.
