Chuwi has introduced the Hi10 X2. It stands as a slightly refreshed version of the X1, with a similar convertible design. The new Windows tablet even shares some of the specs, including the 10.1-inch IPS display, which has a resolution of 1280x800 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
However, while the predecessor was powered by the Intel N150, the newer Hi10 X2 features the Intel Core i3-10100Y. It's a dual-core processor from the Amber Lake lineup. While this CPU can't be considered a proper upgrade over the predecessor, it has a slightly lower base TDP than the N150, which could lead to a better battery life.
Speaking of which, the new convertible Windows tablet has a 3,400 mAh battery (presumably, with two 3.8-volt cells installed resuiting in a 7.6 V voltage), which is the same as the predecessor. The Hi10 X2 also has the same camera configuration, with an 8 MP sensor on the back and a 5 MP selfie shooter on the front.
The port configuration on the Chuwi Hi10 X2 remains the same as the X1, which is as follows:
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C
- 1x full-featured USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port
- 1x Micro HDMI
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
- 1x 3.5 mm audio
On the bottom, the Hi10 X2 features a pogo pin connector for attaching a keyboard to the Windows tablet (available on Amazon). For wireless connectivity, the convertible has WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. Other highlights include 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a relatively lightweight and thin design.
Chuwi's Hi10 X2 is currently available on the official website for $199.99, which goes down to $177.11 when the coupon code Hi268 is applied. Check out the spec sheet attached below to learn more about the affordable Windows tablet.
