The 6-cell battery provided only about 4 hours of battery life, which is about 30-45 minutes short of most other similar 15-inch laptops that we've reviewed in the past.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M:

Mid-range graphics card based on the GT 435M chip (GF108) with higher clock rates and DDR3 support.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Dual-core processor based on the Sandy Bridge architecture with an integrated graphics card and dual-channel DDR3 memory controller. The CPU is clocked at 2.3 GHz (Turbo Boost 2.6-2.9 GHz) and the GPU at 650 (1200 MHz Turbo).
