Alongside a bunch of new products, Acer has introduced the Iconia X12 and X14. Among the two, the former comes with a 12.6-inch AMOLED display that's said to sport a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, and it's a 60 Hz panel.
Under the hood, the Iconia X12 features the MediaTek Helio G99, a relatively low-power SoC from 2022. It's paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS storage. An 8,000 mAh battery powers the internals, and the company says that the tablet can offer up to 16 hours of runtime.
In terms of the camera, the Iconia X12 has a single 13 MP sensor on the back, and there's a 5 MP selfie shooter on the front. The tablet is compatible with productivity-focused accessories, and there's an option to attach a magnetic kickstand.
As for the Iconia X14, it features a larger 60 Hz OLED screen, measuring 14 inches. However, the display has an FHD resolution. It's powered by the Allwinner A733, which comes with an NPU. This unlocks AI-powered features, and Acer says that there are features like automatic camera adjustment and gesture control.
The back camera is an upgrade over the X12, as the Iconia X14 has an 8 MP sensor on the back. However, the front still has a 5 MP selfie camera. The tablet comes with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, but the storage is still up to 256 GB, and the battery is rated at 8,000 mAh.
Both tablets run Android 15, have quad stereo speakers, a microSD card slot that can hold up to a 1 TB card (512 GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC curr. $34.99 on Amazon), dual-band WiFi support, and up to Bluetooth 5.4. As for the price, Acer has only confirmed what the Iconia X12 will start at in the EU, at €369. The two tablets are expected to be available from Q1 2026.
