Reviews for the Acer TravelMate 6595-2524G50Mikk
Travel-Office A 3G/UMTS module and a long battery runtime make this laptop to a true traveler. Moreover, security features such as a fingerprint sensor or a SmartCard reader qualify the TravelMate as a business notebook. Does the solid computer have hidden weaknesses?

At first glance the Acer TravelMate 6595 is identifiable as a corporate machine; fingerprint reader, 34mm ExpressCard reader, SmartCard slot. But for a well-speces business model, heavy 3D applications aside, the Acer TravelMate 6595 offers an excellent feature set and commendable performance for 900 euros.

Intel HD Graphics 3000: Integrated graphics card in the Intel Sandy Bridge processors (Core ix-2xxx). The HD 3000 is the faster (internally GT2 called) version with 12 Execution Units (EUs).
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.

2520M: Dual-core processor based on the Sandy Bridge architecture with an integrated graphics card and dual-channel DDR3 memory controller. » Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
15.6": 15 inch display-variants are the standard and are used for more than the half of all notebooks. 15.4 inch display with 16:10 are the standard for notebook displays. However nowadays, more and more 16:9 displays with 15.6 inch appear. The reason why so many people like displays with medium size is, that this size is not exhausting for the eyes, does not need too much energy and the laptops can be kept quite compact.» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.
2.6 kg: This notebook is lighter than the average of all notebooks. It is too heavy for sub-notebooks. 14 inch displays are normal for this class of weight.
