We recently reviewed the Acer Swift 16 AI powered by the Intel Lunar Lake Core Ultra 9 288V. At IFA 2025, Acer is introducing a Ryzen AI variant, the Swift Air 16. Acer says that the Swift Air 16 is aimed at frequent travels and those who prioritize mobility.
The Swift Air 16 sports a magnesium-aluminum alloy construction that weighs less than 1 kg and comes in Light Silver, Fresh Blue, Steel Gray, and White colors. The Copilot+ PC offers a choice of either a 16:10 1,920x1,200 60 Hz IPS or a 2,880x1,800 400 nits 120 Hz AMOLED 16-inch display that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Powering the Swift Air 16 are AMD Ryzen Krackan Point APU options including the Ryzen AI 5 330, Ryzen AI 5 340, and the Ryzen AI 7 350. These APUs feature integrated Radeon 820M, Radeon 840M, and Radeon 860M graphics, respectively.
The Swift Air 16 also comes with a 2 MP FHD IR webcam with privacy shutter that supports Windows Hello biometric logins, two full function USB Type-C ports, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, and a HDMI 1.4 port with HDCP support. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 round up the networking.
A 3-cell 50 Whr Li-ion battery allows 13 hours of video playback run time, according to Acer.
The Acer Swift Air 16 SFA16-61M will be available in the EMEA from November at prices starting from €999 (~$1,164).
