Hyundai USA has confirmed that the Hyundai Ioniq 9 will start at $60,555. The three-row electric SUV promises up to 335 miles of driving range and will soon arrive at dealerships in six trims.

Hyundai USA is soon bringing the Ioniq 9 to dealerships near you, and here is what you can expect from the electric SUV.

One of the most crucial specs of an electric car is the range. The Ioniq 9 offers up to 335 miles of driving between charges on the rear-wheel drive (RWD) base model, making it a decent choice for longer-distance travel. However, the more powerful trims could lose up to 25 miles.

The energy to move the car is stored in a 110.3 kWh lithium-ion battery, which can charge from 10 to 80 percent in about 24 minutes. Finding a public fast charger would not be difficult as the SUV comes with Tesla’s NACS port, allowing it to access thousands of Superchargers in North America. Hyundai will provide a CCS adapter to make it compatible with other charging stations.

The power from the electric motor depends on the trim. The Ioniq 9 S RWD base version outputs 215 hp, while the top-of-the-line Performance Limited generates 422 hp from a dual-motor powertrain. The fastest trim will go from a standstill to 60 miles per hour in under 5 seconds.

The interior of the Ioniq 9 is spacious, with three rows of seats, making it a family carrier. Ample leg and headrooms mean taller passengers will not have to endure uncomfortable rides even in the third row. The generous dimensions extend to the cargo space, with a capacity of 21.9 cubic feet.

Other interior features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a similar-sized touchscreen for accessing the settings and infotainment. Hyundai also offers Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, seven USB ports, wireless phone charging, and a Bose audio system.

Standard safety features include lane-keep assist, driver attention monitor, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, and rear occupant alert.

The Hyundai Ioniq 9 starts at $60,555 for the S RWD trim. The SE AWD, SEL AWD, and Performance Limited cost $64,765, $67,920, and $72,850, respectively. Hyundai will also sell the Performance Calligraphy and Performance Calligraphy Design for $76,590 and $78,090, respectively.
