Reviews for the Infinix Zero 20

After spending weeks using the Infinix Zero 20, I feel the company has done a pretty decent job. Overall, I do believe that the smartphone can easily be one of the best in the under Rs 20,000 price segment. However, not to forget that this segment is competitive and Infinix will need to offer regular software updates and improve performance and camera overtime to attract more and more consumers. I really liked the matte finish design of the Infinix Zero 20 and also the fact that it is super lightweight, which also makes it extremely easy to use the phone with one hand. The Zero 20 also manages casual gaming well, and also the camera performance also turns out to be average with few areas for improvement. I also liked the low-light camera performance, and feel it is better than many other competition devices.

Infinix Zero 20 is a good phone to consider if you want a superb selfie camera for content creation and 5G is not your priority. It not only takes good photos, both from the main and selfie cameras but also performs good enough to handle everyday tasks. You get a good design and build that punches above its price. The battery life is decent and the 45W fast charging is also good for the price. The 90Hz AMOLED display is smooth and punchy for content consumption. All in all, it’s a nice all-rounder 4G phone that you can get under 20K. You can also check out Realme 9 Pro+ which costs a couple of thousand more but it is also a better phone.

This phone has a 6.8-inch curved-edge 120Hz AMOLED display with an integrated fingerprint sensor, which instantly gives it a premium feel. Content runs pretty smoothly and the display is quite sharp. With a peak brightness of 900 nits, viewing content on this panel shouldn't be a problem in most conditions. The Infinix Zero Ultra has a 4500mAh battery and comes with a 180W fast-charging adaptor. Infinix claims the phone can charge up to 100 percent in just 12 minutes. The Infinix Zero Ultra is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC and supports 5G. In India, the Infinix Zero 20 is available in just one configuration, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for Rs. 15,999. The Infinix Zero Ultra is available for Rs. 29,999 for the sole 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. Let us know what you think about these new offerings in the comments.

The Infinix Zero 20 will remain in the market for a while, but the phone won’t be able to attract a wide range of users because of its average specs and features. There’s no denying that the Helio G99 chipset is superb for every task that you perform on the daily basis. Moreover, the software layering provides numerous customization perks behind the scenes. However, if you are looking for a better alternative option, we will suggest you check out Realme 9 Pro+ in the meantime. If you are looking for 5G connectivity with stable performance and camera quality, the Realme 9 Pro+ is a considerably better choice. However, choose the device according to your requirement, and make sure it checks all of your bucket lists.

As far as budget smartphones go, the Infinix Zero 20 gets a lot of things right. It clicks great selfies, has a solid design, a bright display, and acceptable performance. Its low-light capabilities can be a little lacking and the UI is not the cleanest in the segment. However, if these issues don’t register in your buying decision, then the Zero 20 should be a good purchase.

The Infinix Zero 20 is a well-rounded phone overall, and for the Rs 15,999 introductory pricing, you can’t really ask for much more. The design is great and the performance is decent, but the cameras could use some improvement. However, when the introductory offer time period passes and the price climbs to Rs 17,999, you have other great options on the market that are worth checking out. Offerings like the Poco X4 Pro, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G sell in a similar price bracket, but also offer 5G while maintaining similar performance.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.73.75%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
