iPad2 inventory finally catching up with the huge demand

There are flipsides to being the best after all! The iPad 2 was famous even before it was launched, and a huge demand since right when it was launched was the testimony. Since it was launched earlier this year, the delivery wait has been one to two weeks due to a huge demand-supply gap. But now Electronista reports that the delivery period shows as 3-5 days on the online Apple store. This could mean a surge. If this is true, probably for the first time Apple could be witnessing a shrinking of shipping lead time for the iPad 2.

Apple allowed only two units of iPad 2 per order to prevent a backlog, but was still unable to cope up with the demand.
