One easy way to grab headlines in the crowded smartphone market is to create a product with "The world's largest" or "The world's first" feature to separate the model from others and give it a unique property to attract users. The upcoming T3 smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Vkworld does exactly this as it will purportedly ship with the world's largest speakerphone for a consumer smartphone.

According to the manufacturer, the speakerphone will be 25 x 35 mm and will also be louder than any other smartphone in the market. Its size automatically gives it better bass reproduction while incorporating noise reduction technology to avoid static or balance issues when on higher volume settings. The following information on the audio details of the T3 compared to other flagship smartphones has been provided to us by the manufacturer:

T3:

  • -noise level: -146.1dB;
  • -dynamic range: 149.7dB;
  • -total harmonic distortion: 0.0012%;
  • -intermodulation distortion: 0.0037%;
  • -stereo separation: -128.2dB;

iPhone 6s:

  • -noise level: -78.1dB;
  • -dynamic range: 83.7dB;
  • -total harmonic distortion: 0.0023%;
  • -intermodulation distortion: 0.0097%;
  • -stereo separation: -71.2dB;

HTC One M9:

  • -noise level: -93.1dB;
  • -dynamic range: 98.7dB;
  • -total harmonic distortion: 0.0021%;
  • -intermodulation distortion: 0.0084%;
  • -stereo separation: -82.2dB;

Otherwise, core specifications about the T3 are unknown aside from the fact that it is a 5-inch smartphone with a removable rear cover and battery pack. The model is expected to launch sometime before the end of the year.
