For those that expect their laptops to perform well and look even better; Toshiba has introduced the Dynabook Qosmio T750. The color changing laptop uses Toshiba’s new “Picasus” technology to change colors based on the viewing angle. The “Shiny Ocean” color runs the gamut from Turquoise all the way to Blue and Purple. This technology is based on multiple polyester laminate films; compromised of thousands of Nano-technology layers. While the exact mechanism is unknown, the layers provide the laptop with a metallic look without the actual use of any metals; making it cheaper to produce and better for the environment.
As far as the inner workings of the T750, the laptop packs a 2.26 GHz Intel Core i5-480M, 4GB DDR3 RAM, and a 750GB HDD. The screen is a standard 15.6” with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels; also included are Toshiba’s Harmon Kardon Speakers, HDMI, and eSata.
As of now the Dynabook T750 will only available in Japan and no price has been announced. However, it shouldn’t be too long before this beauty makes its way to the US, especially if it manages to sell well in Asia.
