Tegra 4i prototype smartphone shown off by NVIDIA
NVIDIA officially introduced their Tegra 4i chip back in February, but we've yet to see any actual products running the APU. That appears set to change however, as Anandtech was able to get their hands on a prototype device.
The device was shown off to the site by NVIDIA themselves but has no actual company markings outside of a generic "brand" place-holder. The 4.8" smartphone does feature the Tegra 4i APU though, and integrated 4G LTE fits inside the 7.8mm case, setting it apart from the Tegra 4.
Other goodies on the prototype are pretty standard and they include a 13MP camera, 1GB of RAM and 8/16/32GB sizes. There is no word as to which manufacturer will adopt this prototype, but it should be available in Q1 2014 for $300-400.
