Sony is all set to hog the limelight again. This time with its brand new range of Vaio Y series notebooks. This stands to be Sony’s latest line of 11.6-inch laptops to go on sale.

Specifications

The new Sony Vaio Y VPCYA19FJ comes with a 1366 x 768 pixel display. It’s processing capabilities are powered by a sturdy 1.33GHz Intel Core i3-380UM processor. Internal memory is as much as 2GB of RAM, and the OS is supported by Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. In addition to a 320GB hard drive, the Sony Vaio Y VPCYA19FJ also boasts integrated Intel graphics. There is also provision for a battery capable of sustaining itself for a time period of 6 hours on an average as claimed by Sony.

Connectivity is provided owing to the presence of WiFi and Bluetooth.

Price

The official price of the Sony Vaio Y VPCYA19FJ has not been let out of the box as yet. However sources report that it comes with a price label of $1335 US or 110,000 yen. The amount is a bit over the top if you’d ask me although it’s just a speculation at this stage and the actual price tag may waver. However that is one thing what Sony is known for, offering ultra high scale quality, but for an equally fat price.
